Ministries Coordinator

Janet is the daughter of a Church of God minister.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee; and, received her Master of Education in Educational Administration from West Texas A&M University.   She taught mathematics at Pampa High School for 9 years and served in administration for 9 years. While attending Lee University, Janet met her husband, Lynn Hancock, and they were married in 1975. They have blessed with 3 married children, 2 fantastic daughters-in-law, 1 fabulous son-in-law, and 7 perfect grandchildren.

 

After retiring from Pampa Independent School District, in July, 2017, Janet joined the staff at Briarwood Church.  The favorite parts of her present assignment include corporate Bible study, working with the church family in all areas of ministry, and being involved in the Christian walk of others.
