Director of Children's Ministries

Melissa was born in Amarillo, Texas where she attended school and graduated from Caprock High School in 1988. She worked for many years in various Day Care centers before meeting the love of her life, Teddy Parr in 1994.  She and Teddy married on February 3, 1995, and for the first year of their marriage lived in Vernon, Texas before God placed them in Pampa where they have raised their 2 children, Erin and Braden.  Melissa kept children in her home for 16 1/2 years where she strived to provide a safe and loving environment to all she was blessed enough to care for.  She has been a member of Briarwood Church Since 1999, and has always been a volunteer / teacher for children of various ages within the church, and a member of the worship team throughout her membership. Children are her passion, and she feels that God has led her to this position as Director of Children's Ministries.
